Career Exploration

NOVA students use Next Steps Idaho to formulate their learning plans for middle, high school and beyond! Eigth grade through twelfth-grade students take assessments that assist them in learning about their interests, skills, and aptitudes, resulting in possible career choices based upon those areas. They also learn how selecting high school classes toward their interests can help them prepare for their futures and much more. 

 

8th through 11th-grade NOVA students in the 2023-2024 school year are creating their Next Steps Portfolios to be utilized throughout their secondary education. 

 

Next Steps Idaho also has information for parents and educators and it is the site where 12th-grade students apply to Idaho colleges during the fall "College Application Week" program and where they can check for scholarship opportunities.
