Activities

NOVA students can still participate in Activities and Athletics!  As an online school, we do not currently have NOVA-specific activities and athletics. (Maybe someday!). Students wishing to participate in programs may do so at the Middle/High School in which boundaries they reside. Students must also physically attend the associated course in that building at the appropriate time. 

For example: If Student “A” attends NOVA and lives in the West Middle School boundaries, she would need to join the West Middle School activities. She would not be eligible to play for South Middle School. Student “A” would also need to attend the West Middle School class in that building at the appropriate time each day in order to maintain the class and be a part of the activity.

NOVA students will be held to the same academic eligibility standards and team rules as all other participants.  NOVA students will also be held to the IHSAA Rules and eligibility criteria.
