Secondary P.E. and Health

Bri is the secondary P.E. and Health for NOVA. She spent the last 6 years at Lone Star Middle School in Nampa. Before Lone Star she taught part time at Renaissance High School in West Ada.

  

She attended Northwest Nazarene University on a full basketball scholarship where she was a 4-year letter winner. She was drafted to play professionally in Germany upon graduation in 2012 but chose to stay and coach high school girls’ basketball at Victory Charter School in Nampa then moved into to Rocky Mountain for a year. She graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 2012 with a Bachelors in secondary education with and emphasis in Kinesiology and health education. She again graduated from NNU with her master's in education in curriculum, instruction, and innovation. 

 

In between teaching jobs, she worked in the car bays at Les a SchwabGrowing up in Bend, OR, she enjoys her time at the lake and camping with her family. 

 

  • Bri LOVES coffee at any time of the day.  
  • Mexican food is her weakness.  
  • She met her husband during her first-year teaching at Lone Star. They taught in the same building for 6 years before she left for NOVA.  
  • She has a 2 ½ year old son, Jackson who attends Nampa Christian for pre-school. Her stepchildren are 14 ½ and are freshman at Centennial High School in Meridian.  
  • She has a Pitbull mix dogs; Hank and Kloe.  
  • She trained for a half marathon this past year but couldn’t run it due to COVID.  
  • She played basketball from the age of 8 to 21.  
  • She grew up in Bend, OR and visits her family there frequently
